Invest

Investing aligned with the work you do.

Most planners think investing is a brokerage account. For clinicians, it’s also the solo 401(k), the SEP-IRA, the practice reserves, and the personal portfolio that has to actually fit your values.

Our Commitment

Investing principles for clinicians who care how the money works.

Practice-aware, fee-only, and structured around the same standards you bring to your clinical work, clarity about what you’re paying for and where the money goes.

  • 01

    Transparency

You always know how your funds are allocated, what you’re paying, and why a fund is in the portfolio. No black boxes.

  • 02

    Liquidity

We focus on liquid investment funds and accounts, stability, growth potential, and the ability to act when life changes.

  • 03

    Availability

Your money stays available. You can access your funds when and if you need them, no surprise lockups, no surrender charges.

  • 04

    Ethically-Aligned Investing

Your investing shouldn’t undercut the work you do in session. We screen for the issues that matter, and let you exclude the industries that don’t belong in your portfolio.

Where Investing Lives

From a solo 401(k) to a values-aligned personal portfolio.

  • For higher-net-worth households

    Wealth Management

If you have substantial assets to invest, we build specific strategies to optimize wealth, holdings, and the relationships between accounts, businesses, and estates.

    • Coordinated multi-account strategy
    • Tax, estate, and entity awareness
    • Quarterly review cadence
  • Short-term money, 1–2 years

    High-Yield Savings

Practice reserves, tax holding accounts, and personal short-term cash all belong in high-yield accounts, not your operating checking. We help you place each layer.

    • We help you find the right high-yield account
    • No products sold, no commissions
    • Right account for the right purpose
  • Active workplace plans

    401(k) / 403(b) Management

Solo 401(k), SEP-IRA, SIMPLE-IRA, group practice plans, W-2 401(k)s, and mixed structures, we optimize what fits the practice and run it alongside your personal accounts.

    • Active monitoring of your plan
    • Allocation tuned to your timeline
    • Coordinated with the rest of your plan
  • Within available funds

    401(k) Portfolio

We build the best portfolio possible from the funds your employer’s plan actually offers, not a wishlist of what we’d prefer.

    • Built from the menu you have
    • Risk-adjusted to your horizon
    • Reviewed alongside personal accounts
  • Outside of workplace plans

    Personalized Investment Portfolio

A personalized portfolio of ETFs and stocks, screened against your values, with tax optimization and the option to exclude specific companies or industries.

    • Mix of ETFs and individual stocks
    • Passive or active strategy
    • Tax-loss harvesting where it fits
    • Option to exclude specific companies

Our Investment Process

How we choose what your money is invested in.

A four-stage screening process, values, fundamentals, quality, and personalization, so the portfolio reflects both careful stewardship and the standards you hold yourself to clinically.

  1. EPI Screening

Proprietary screening to identify companies most effective at managing material risks across earth, people, and corporate integrity.

  2. Quantitative Screening

Quantitative thresholds, relative market cap, P/E, sales growth, and similar metrics, to identify strong performers within sectors.

  3. Quality Screening

Qualitative research and analysis, management team, track record, and durability of competitive advantages, to find strong long-term performers.

  4. Customized Equity Portfolio

A portfolio personalized to the issues you’ve prioritized, with weights and exclusions calibrated to what actually matters to you.

Portfolio Values

A portfolio that doesn’t undercut your clinical work.

We screen against the issues most clinicians don’t want sitting inside their retirement plan, and let you weight or exclude the ones that matter most to you.

  • Protecting the climate

Reducing emissions and overall carbon footprint across the holdings.

  • Mitigating waste

Reducing harmful chemicals and waste released to water and land.

  • Conserving natural resources

Optimizing efficiency in energy, water, and raw material use.

  • Protecting consumers

Supporting consumer protection, product safety, and fair billing.

  • Acting ethically as corporations

Eliminating anti-competitive practices and intellectual-property abuses.

  • Reducing corruption

Eliminating bribery, fraud, and other unethical business behavior.

  • Treating employees fairly

Improving employee diversity, protections, and access to benefits.

  • Advocating for human rights

Protecting the dignity of people and communities across the supply chain.

  • Strengthening data privacy

Improving the ethical and safe collection, use, and protection of personal data.

Fee-Only Fiduciary

We prioritize your financial interest.

  • We don’t sell financial products.

The plan is the deliverable. We don’t make money based on which fund or product you end up in.

  • We don’t take commissions.

Fee-only, fiduciary, and aligned with your outcome, not a product manufacturer’s.
